Satujera montana or Winter Savory

A tasty perennial herb grown for its narrow, aromatic leaves which are used Ito flavour bean dishes, casseroles, stews, herbal oils and vinegars. During summer, masses 'of small white flowers are produced. Prefers a sunny, open position in moist, well drained soil. Ideal for rockeries, borders and containers, Prune back hard after flowering to promote strong new growth.
